UCSF Digital Collaborative: Bringing It All Together

Time:
12:30 PM to 1:10 PM
Room:
Rutter Center Robertson Auditorium 3
Track:
Digital@UCSF
Description:

Leveraging momentum from the strategic plans of UCSF and UCSF Health, the UCSF Digital Collaborative  will bring together and anchor the digital community at UCSF.  The Digital Collaborative  will be both a virtual network markedly enhancing the ability of UCSF’s own community and partners to access UCSF’s digital information, activities, and tools, as well as a physical space – one that colocates many of the key digital organizations on campus.

The goal of the Digital Collaborative is to enable UCSF faculty and staff to more rapidly and efficiently discover, develop, validate, deploy, and scale digital innovation across UCSF. During the session, we plan to share work in progress and solicit input and feedback on how we might evolve the vision and work of the Digital Collaborative to make an impact. We are using a variety of means to bring the Digital Collaborative to life, for example:

  • The Digital Census will lead to a comprehensive and continually updated inventory of digital health projects in development at UCSF. We will share our working version of this resource, how to use it for your digital project, and how it connects with other resources, such as UCSF Profiles, to help identify experts and interested people at UCSF on all topics related to “digital health.”
  • The Digital 311 website will be a one-stop shop digital project navigation and support resource for researchers and faculty. The objective is to reduce friction and accelerate projects through content and access to consultations from experts in topics such as IRB, Privacy, Legal, Risk, Security, Design, and EHR Integration.
  • The UCSF Digital Collaborative Communications will share our work on creating the story that connects all the existing pieces, focus areas, the vision of the Digital Collaborative, and the website that integrates projects, organizations, and people doing groundbreaking digital health work at UCSF.
