UCSF is experiencing rapid growth in online education and it promises to continue this trend which raises the question, how do we choose the best strategy for supporting online education? The School of Dentistry, Nursing, Pharmacy, and the Library are all taking different approaches within their departments to support online education, whether it's implementing changes to streamline faculty support procedures, providing creative ideas for designing effective instructional videos, or developing an entire service dedicated to instructional design. Education Technology staff are also working together to build relationships with colleagues throughout the schools on campus and at local universities to learn about best practices and make the best use of the technology we have available. In this session, Ed Tech staff will talk about their process for supporting online education, discuss lessons learned, and share their vision for the future.
